Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have dealt with a lot during the coronavirus pandemic. For a second time, the duo has dealt with COVID-19. In February, a representative from Trisha’s camp posts on her Facebook to give an update on their recent COVID-19 scare. Unfortunately, this leads to a positive diagnosis for Trisha. However, it seems like the country legends can make the best out of a bad situation according to reports from CMT.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood still learning after more than 15 years of marriage

After 15 years of marriage, it is hard to imagine that a couple would have anything to work on in their relationship. However, consistent growth together may be the key to being couple goals. Garth Brooks gives some insider information on his recent appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

Apparently, it’s a mixed blessing that Trisha Yearwood had COVID-19. It gave the couple some quality time together. Garth notes that they had “hard conversations about their relationship.” His lovely wife adds to the conversation. “If you can talk about the hard stuff, it’s good. And we’re in this for the long haul,” says Yearwood.

Garth Brooks seems to realize that he didn’t have conventional timing when it comes to having hard conversations. “I think 99.9% of people wouldn’t have done what I [did], but I thought since we’re here, and we ain’t got nowhere to go, let’s just attack some of the hardest things over the 15 years that bugs one of us, right?” says Brooks.

He goes on to compare quarantine to “like living in a little house.” Consequently, the couple “couldn’t go anywhere” and “couldn’t walk away from the conversation.” Additionally, Brooks “thought it was great.” Luckily, this relationship-building tactic had a good outcome. “I think we cam out the other end even closer and tighter than we were when we went in,” says Brooks.

COVID-19 update for the Country legends’ home

Yearwood recently shares on social media that “good news comes in 3s.” One of the important announcements is that she is COVID-19 free. In addition to this great news, she expresses her gratitude to her fans. “Thank you for all your love, support messages and sweet tweets,” writes the Country music queen.

Secondly, she gives a sweet shoutout to her hubby, the notorious Garth Brooks. She writes, “My incredible husband is literally Superman and never got covid-but still took all the precautions to keep everyone we know and love safe!” This is the sort of thing that makes the power duo couple goals. It seems like Garth regularly shares similar sentiments about his bride. During their first COVID scare, he says, “If you know Trisha Yearwood, she’s very…she’s in control. And she has been very spot on these six months, and she’s led our family through it.”
