Blake Shelton and his bar franchise, Ole Red, just took a big leap with the grand opening of the Las Vegas location. With that, Blake made sure to send a message as eager patrons are ready to take in everything this all-in-one venue has to offer. So, what did he have to say?
Blake Shelton Proved Himself As A Savvy Businessman
In many ways, Blake Shelton has achieved everything he could have hoped for, and then some. Even if all he ever did was build a successful country music catalog, so many people would be more than happy to achieve what he has in that arena alone. However, over the last few years in particular, Blake has proven himself to be much more than a hitmaker behind a microphone and an acoustic guitar.
Along with coaching countless singers over the course of his 23 seasons on The Voice, Blake has proven that he is quite the television personality. If that were not enough, he has also branched out into the business world in a number of ways. Some of these include a clothing collection with Lands’ End, a bar competition reality show with Carson Daly, and more.
Blake Shelton Isn’t Slowing Down
If you thought Blake Shelton would kick back and take it easy to start 2024, he is doing the complete opposite. The newest location of his Ole Red Bar franchise just opened its doors on the Las Vegas Strip. Of all the six locations Shelton now has to his name, the Vegas location is his biggest one yet, clocking in at an impressive 27,000 square feet.
Even more impressive is the fact that it took only about a year to go from first breaking ground to a completed venue. Initially, the Las Vegas location was expected to open by the end of January 2024. Although, opening on January 15 put things way ahead of the initial projection. So, that means things moved along faster than anticipated.

Country Singer Opens New Bar With Savage Message
With all the success that Blake Shelton has had over the years, you always get a certain group of fans that accuse artists like Shelton of “selling out”. In fact, many old-school No Doubt fans accuse his wife, Gwen Stefani, of doing exactly the same thing.
As a person changes, ages, and grows more successful, it’s only natural that they won’t be the exact same person they once were. This is especially true if the time frame we are talking about spans decades. Even so, Blake opened his new Las Vegas bar with a poignant message.
One of the many aspects of this new Ole Red location that people are talking about is the impressive design. There are upper floors, and the stage by itself is rather impressive. Even with all that, though, it’s the message that Blake Shelton left painted on one of the establishment’s walls that has people talking.
In big, bold letters, the message says: “Kiss My Country A**”. Clearly, no matter what naysayers may say about Blake Shelton, and no matter the level of success he enjoys, he hasn’t forgotten his roots.

Meridian, Ms the home of country music legend, Jimmy Rodger’s, could be a great place for your Old Red to open. Mississippi is strictly country and would bring a big crowd.
