Reba McEntire will, once again, be starring in another sitcom. After Reba ended more than 20 years ago, the “What Am I Gonna Do About You” singer has another chance at creating a hit television show. It appears television is almost in her blood as much as music.

The Untitled Sitcom

The new Reba McEntire series has yet to be titled. Despite that, information about her latest television sitcom has been released. The sitcom will be about a woman (Reba McEntire) who has inherited a restaurant from her father. After inheriting the restaurant, she learns she has a half-sister she did not know about. In addition to starring in this television show, McEntire will also be an executive producer. The yet-to-be titled television show will air on NBC. At the time of publication, the release date was still unknown.

This may be the perfect role for the “You Can Take The Wings Off Me” singer. McEntire recently opened a restaurant. The restaurant is located in Oklahoma, near where she grew up. Her restaurant is currently bringing new life into what was a failing community. Her experience as a restaurant in real life may prove to be helping in playing one on the small screen.

Previous Television Experience

Reba McEntire has been quite active on television since her career in music started. In addition to starring in Reba, the “Right Time Of The Night” singer has been in several different television shows. She also starred in Malibu Country. She played, of all things, a mermaid named Trish in Barb And Star Go To Vista Del Mar. She has also made guest appearances in Young Sheldon and Big Sky.

Reba McEntire has also made numerous appearances on television, showcasing her musical talent. The “To Make That Mistake Again” singer has hosted several country music award shows. Of course, she is still one of the judges on the hit show The Voice. She will also be singing the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl in early February.
