A Carrie Underwood insider recently dished that all may not be well in her marriage to Mike Fisher. Is there divorce in the future for the Before He Cheats singer?
Carrie Underwood Raised A Family With Her Husband, Mike Fisher
On paper, Carrie Underwood has it all. In addition to being one of the reigning queens of country music and topping the charts, she also has a family at home, including kids and a husband. One of the hardest things to do in the entertainment business is to be at the top of your game career-wise and also have a happy family.
Often, people have to choose between one or the other. In Carrie Underwood’s case, over the last few years, she has seemed to succeed at juggling both. However, based on the latest tea making the rounds, even though things continue to take off career-wise, things may not be so great at home after all.
Insider Dishes On Troubled Marriage?
According to a recent Carrie Underwood insider, despite putting on a good face publicly, everything may not be as it seems privately for Carrie and her husband, Mike Fisher. It turns out, Underwood and Fisher were recently on vacation in Hawaii. However, it turned out to be more of a work trip rather than an exotic getaway to relax and reconnect.
A source close to the situation recently said: “It was supposed to be a vacation in paradise but she was either working or with her band and Mike felt left out.”
Carrie Underwood’s Schedule Will Get Even Busier, Can Marriage Survive?
Carrie Underwood isn’t slowing down when it comes to her work schedule. She was recently announced as the new American Idol judge, taking over for Katy Perry. This is certainly a homecoming and a full circle moment for Underwood, as she now gets to be a judge on the very show that made her a household name.
If that were not enough, the singer will also resume her residency in Las Vegas. So, even though artists are able to play shows in one place when they have a residency in Sin City, it’s still a huge commitment, and something that will surely eat into family time.

Even though Underwood plans to bring her kids and her husband with her to Sin City, the inside source notes that it won’t be the sort of excursion that her husband is hoping for.
The source went on to dish more to Globe Magazine, adding: “Mike will go with her but more as kid-sitter than lover. He’s longing for some alone time with his wife, but there isn’t much opportunity for it. She always promises to make more time for him but then before long she’s back to making life all about work, or the kids, with Mike feeling stuck in last place.”
Of course, couples like Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton continue to navigate marriage and family, with both of them being in the public eye. So, it’ll be interesting to see if Underwood’s marriage survives for the long haul, especially as her schedule gets even more packed.
