Her baked goods can also be found in the frozen foods section and now, she has a cookbook coming out with her lookalike sister.
Finally, she has one of the most successful marriages in the history of Hollywood. She has shared the secret to her marital success and that is not forcing her husband to be in the spotlight. Though she will walk the red carpet with a huge grin, she understands that’s not for her husband. Plus, she is extremely philanthropic so Dolly is a force to be reckoned with. Her character, Truvy, in Steel Magnolias, did say that “there is no such thing as natural beauty” so this is perfect for her. She will start with the Heaven’s Kiss lipline. All of the colors will take a cue from her iconic songs. Dolly shared this when talking about her new venture:
I’ve always said I never leave a rhinestone unturned. I’ve wanted to be pretty my whole life like most girls, especially country girls that have a dream of glamour.
As it turns out, Dolly has been creating her own makeup since she was a child so this is nothing new for her. The initial colors will be “Jolene Red,” “Honey Plum,” “Rosebud,” and “Birthday Suit.”
