Miranda Lambert recently got real about her demanding work schedule. Being at the top of the heap comes with a price, and that can often mean working yourself to the bone to stay on top. Lambert recently talked about the level of burnout she dealt with, as well as how she moves differently these days. So, what did she have to say?
Miranda Lambert Is One Of The Hardest Workers In The Business
Miranda Lambert has been a reigning queen of country music for the last two decades. Over that time, she has put together an impressive net worth. As of 2024, she is worth an estimated $60M. On paper, having that much in the bank should be a permanent license to take it easy and enjoy life.
However, what often happens with people at the top of their game is, the more they are at the top, the harder they work to maintain that same level of success. This often means overloading your schedule with appearances and tour stops. While it’s never a bad thing to stay busy, there does come a point where you reach a level of burnout that can be difficult to come back from.
Lambert Opens Up About Stretching Herself Too Thin
In a recent interview with Bunnie Xo, Miranda talked about how she burned the candle at both ends. According to the Wranglers singer, she “reached a pretty high level of burnout” last summer.
Going into greater detail, the country superstar said: “I didn’t realize what it was until I was like, ‘I think this is what they call burnout’ — just from not taking a break or a long enough one. Just a couple of days at a time just wasn’t enough for like, the amount of busyness.”
Lambert continued, adding: “I just feel like we have to learn the balance. It’s really hard when you’re so driven to relax into doing nothing. But if you don’t recharge, it’s like then you’re only operating at 50% anyway.”
Lambert Took Her Own Advice Recently
With things like her Las Vegas residency that she had, memorable performances at festivals like Stagecoach, maintaining a healthy marriage, and all of the other causes and commitments Miranda has, that’s a lot to keep track of for anyone. From the looks of it, she recently took her own advice when it came to searching for a sense of balance.

Along with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, Miranda Lambert recently traveled to Italy to take in everything the country has to offer. Miranda shared pics and video clips taking in all the sights, sounds, and of course, delicious food.
This seems to be just the kind of trip she needed to recenter herself and recharge, especially with her new album set to drop on September 13.
