Dolly Parton is sharing the special meaning behind her brand-new beauty line, Dolly Beauty. She started it with just lipsticks which are all named after her infamous songs. Yet, with a new album on the way, why take the time to launch this venture? Dolly has an amazing reason and here are all of the details behind it.
Dolly Parton Shares Special Meaning Behind Beauty Line
She is not just an amazing singer or actress though Dolly Parton could just stick to those professions. The one thing about Dolly is that she does venture out a lot. Not only is she a philanthropist but she also is willing to try new things. She has explored the dessert world with her own Duncan Hines baking mixes. Plus, she has a new cookbook with her sister, Rachel Parton George, who looks just like her called Good Lookin’ Cookin’: A Year of Meals: A Lifetime of Family, Friends, and Food.
It will be released on September 17th, 2024 and that goes along with her fun items for pets. They can look just like a pooch version of Dolly and she has a family album being released later this year. So, there is a lot that keeps her occupied but now, she is adding beauty mogul to her resume. Dolly has launched her own beauty line and has said this is something she has always been passionate about. However, there is a deeper reason why she opted to do it now rather than another time.

According to Closer, Dolly did it so she could be around for her husband, Carl Dean. The two have been married for nearly sixty years but he has fallen ill. Therefore, she has taken a step back from touring to be with Carl. At the same time, she cannot just sit there, twiddling her thumbs so the makeup line is perfect. An insider shared this:
Frankly, Dolly has more time on her hands than she’s ever had, and she jokes that those idle hands make for the devil’s plaything. She has thought about launching her own line of beauty products for a long time and she finally pulled the trigger on it!
