Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, have been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons since the recent scandal broke. So, is Miranda wary of her hubby now as a result?
Brendan McLoughlin Got A Little Too Cozy With Other Women
As one of the most popular country artists around today, Miranda Lambert often makes headlines. However, when her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, got cozy with other women at her Nashville bar, this was a public relations nightmare in more ways than one.
Any Miranda Lambert fans who have been keeping up with her marriage to Brendan know, she married a civilian from way up north in New York City. While Lambert dated other famous people, she went against her usual when she found love with Brendan.
Even so, because she is such a household name, she warned him in the past about drawing this kind of negative publicity. Her hubby with other women at her bar is exactly the kind of scandal she wanted to avoid.
Husband And Wife Have Made An Effort To Reconnect
In the aftermath of this recent scandal, Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin have put forth a united front. There have been clues that listeners have found of Miranda taking shots at her hubby, too. However, from the outside looking in, they have made a concerted effort to reconnect and rekindle the spark.
One recent example of this was when the couple took off on an exotic vacation to Italy. Judging by the pics and videos that Miranda Lambert shared with her millions of followers from the trip, you would never guess that there was any friction between them as a couple, and maybe that’s the point.
Is Miranda Lambert Putting A Wall Up?
After everything that has happened recently, some Miranda Lambert fans may be wondering if the singer is putting a wall up around herself and simply keeping up appearances when it comes to her marriage.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly discussing the state of her marriage and more, Lambert said: “Love is hard some days, but the reward is so worth it.” According to the singer, she went on to say that “communication is everything,” and that: “You have to compromise sometimes and be willing to listen to each other.”
Despite everything Lambert has dealt with regarding relationships up to this point, she maintains a unique mindset about the whole thing. She went on to say: “I’m guarded in a lot of ways, but when it comes to my heart, I’m like, what do you really have to lose?”
