Country music star Luke Combs just called out another music artist on social media, solely because of the t-shirt he was wearing.

Luke Combs Calls Out Post Malone

Post Malone recently decided to wear a Luke Combs t-shirt during one of his performances. It initially was seen as a kind gesture, but a closer look changes everything.

The issue with the graphic tee was that it isn’t an official Luke Combs merch product. Therefore, Post just did free promotion for a company making knockoff shirts.

Luke himself responded to the singer’s error on social media. “Shirt is gas. Even though it’s bootleg haha,” he posted on his Instagram story.

Malone didn’t publicly respond to the call out, but it’s a good assumption that he won’t make the same mistake again.

Their Close Friendship

It’s no shock that Post is wearing a shirt with Luke’s face on it. The two have already collaborated on two songs this year, “Guy For That” and “Missin’ You Like This.”

Luke has had nothing but nice things to say about Malone. “He’s so nice. He’s just an unbelievable guy. You can’t help but be happy around him,” Combs once gushed.

Based on their friendship, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they work together more in the future. Especially since Post has gotten more into making country music recently.

Luke’s Merch Madness

Luke has his own line of official merch, but there have been some individuals who have made their own, including the person who made Post’s t-shirt.

Another person is Nichol Harness, a Combs superfan who used to sell water bottles with his face on them. That was until she was hit with a $250,000 lawsuit for selling them.

She quickly stopped selling the water bottles and took to social media to share her story. According to her, she’d only made less than $500 from selling them.

The country music artist eventually caught light of her story and claimed that he had no clue that his team filed the lawsuit against her.

“This is not something that I would ever do. This is not the kind of person I am. I’m not greedy in any way, shape or form,” he explained.

Because the judgment had already been ruled in his favor, there wasn’t anything he could legally do. But, that didn’t stop Luke from trying to make it right.

Not only did Combs offer Nichol and her family to go to one of his shows, but he gave her over $10,000. Only time will tell if the person who made Post’s shirt will get taken to court too.
