Lambert Dishes On Private Investigator Job In Mexico
Recalling this particular job in Mexico, Miranda Lambert said: “One of the memorable ones was going to Cancun for senior trip. My mom’s like, ‘We’re going to Cancun for senior trip.’ And I was like, ‘Just me and you? Like, that’s my senior trip? Yay…’”
Naturally, there was a catch, as Lambert added: “But we had to go with this group of kids because one of the dads had hired mom to make sure his daughter was gonna stay on the rails on her senior trip. I was like, ‘How am I gonna make friends with these girls I don’t even know?’”
The way Miranda Lambert tells it, she brought her guitar along, and it was the ace up her sleeve to get in good with those strangers. All these years later, strangers all around the world pay to listen to her play her guitar. So, in that aspect, she had that going for her, even back then.
