Miranda Lambert Coming Back Strong With New Album
Lambert has been hard at work promoting her brand-new record, Postcards From Texas. Along with being her first major, full-length release since Palomino in 2022, Miranda is hard at work promoting the new record. This includes playing shows, in addition to doing various interviews and talk shows. So, she has gone back fully into promotional mode.
Miranda Lambert opened up recently about how this latest record is deeply personal for her. She reflected on things like her decades in the industry, and all the fans who still support her and allow her to do what she does every day. After the wild ride she has been on, she is certainly taking the time to appreciate things, and reflect on how far she has come.
Country Singer Secures Big Win With Major Award
Miranda Lambert won big at the recent People’s Choice Country Awards in Nashville. Lambert took home the coveted Country Icon Award, something that was surely well-deserved after the kind of career that she has put together. In an audience of her peers and colleagues, she took in the big moment.
Accepting her impressive award on the big stage, Lambert said: “It’s so weird for me to stand up here and hold an icon award. I mean, to me, an icon is who I grew up listening to. My daddy would play Jerry Jeff Walker, Merle Haggard, Guy Clark, John Prine. Those are my icons. So the fact that I get this award tonight is just blowing my mind.”
Miranda Lambert Reflects On Huge Achievement
In addition to what Miranda Lambert said during her acceptance speech, she has had more time to process her big win since receiving it. To be considered an icon of country music is no small thing, and what all that means is something that Lambert has been able to reflect on since her big win.
