Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, is on a low dose of weight loss medication but she admits that she is “starving.” She has always been one for body confidence and even shut down trolls for shaming her husband. Yet, she jumped on the weight loss bandwagon and is sharing her experience with her followers. Keep reading for more details on how Bunnie is faring.
Bunnie XO ‘Starving’ On Low Dose Weight Loss Meds
It has been a whirlwind ride as Jelly Roll is currently on his Beautifully Broken Tour. He also performed at Madison Square Garden and lived out his dream as the musical guest on SNL. Now, he is awaiting the release of his new album, Beautifully Broken. His wife, Bunnie XO has been there as much as she can, living the tour bus life and indulging in her husband’s dreams. They have built an amazing life together and it is more than they ever dreamed.
Currently, Jelly is on a weight loss journey as he dropped around seventy pounds while training for a 5K. He has not stopped and maintains a healthy lifestyle on tour. Bunnie has noted how he eats better than most people that she knows. Now, she has started to try and get in better shape and she is utilizing the help of a weight loss drug. They have become extremely popular as they’re considered quick fixes. According to People, Bunnie talked about her current experience with tirzepatide on her Dumb Blonde podcast. At that point, she was on day two:
I’m hungry as s—. OK? I don’t know. I woke up a pound and a half lighter though, but, man, I can eat. Like, I’m starving right now. I’m ready to eat again. I ate way over my calories today, but I’m eating, like, a bunch of healthy s—, like, protein and veggies.
She remained utterly confused as to why she was so hungry and did not feel full taking this medication. However, Bunnie did share that she is not taking a full dosage. She explained that she does take medicine and even had nightmares before she started tirzepatide:
I was so scared to take it, dude. I was so scared to take it that I had nightmares the day before…I have nothing in my body.
Not Doing Well
Aside from the immense hunger pains, Bunnie XO is also not doing well on other fronts. She explained that the dosage did not matter, she has been violently ill:
I s— my brains out. I also got sick. I felt like I was gonna projectile vomit, so I had to eat watermelon, and then that made me feel better. And, like, today I had a little wave of some stuff, but I got through it.
Since she has already lost a pound and a half, it does not appear that she is going to stop just yet. She is keeping on despite either feeling awful or starving to death. Hopefully, Bunnie finds a happy medium and is satisfied with whatever she chooses.
