Luke Combs Took A Big Risk To Pursue Music
When it comes to Luke Combs and the things that are most important to him, it’s all about family and his music career. Combs had just 21 hours left to put toward completing his business degree at Appalachian State University. However, he felt so strongly about his calling to be a musician that he dropped out to pursue music full-time.
With that kind of conviction toward his future in the music industry and what he felt he was meant to do, that big risk surely paid off, and has come back tenfold ever since. Now, he is reaping all of the rewards of being one of the top country artists in the game today.
Combs Is All About Family
In addition to his music career, Luke Combs is a proud family man. Along with his wife, Nicole Hocking Combs, the pair are raising two young boys, Tex and Beau. They are both still very young, but that has not stopped Combs from using his sons as inspirations in his songwriting.
This is something that his millions of fans love to see from him, as it shows how genuine and deep his love is for his family and the boys he is raising. Combs’ latest record is called Fathers & Sons, and it combined his two biggest passions, family and music.
Speaking of his two sons and the responsibility he has as a father, Combs said: “I want to be their dad, first and foremost.”

Luke Combs’ Son Has Moving Words For Fallen Veterans
Recently, Luke Combs’ wife took Tex and Beau to Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Saturday, December 14 to observe the nationwide Wreaths Across America. Little Tex did his part. Along with his mom, he laid wreaths across the graves of fallen service members.
However, it’s not just that he participated in doing this, but also the words he had to say while doing it. According to the proud mom, she said of her young son: “He kept saying, ‘Hi. I love you. Thank you for your service. Merry Christmas,’ to every headstone we laid wreaths on.”
