Post Malone and Zach Top don’t seem like they would pair well together as their styles are completely different. Zach has historically been praised for reviving a traditional country sound into mainstream country music. Post Malone is known for his tattoo and transition from pop into country. However, Malone often collaborates with many big pop country stars and some country music legends. Zach and Malone agreed to collaborate on a classic country music song.

He is positioned to take up the mantle of traditional country music for future generations. However, Post Malone recently covered Zach’s hit ” I Never Lie” dipping his toes into classic country music. Now Zach and Post have the opportunity to pay tribute to a country music legend.

Post and Zach Top Team Up For Dynamic Duo

The duo is on the lineup for the Wild Horses Festival in San Diego. They decided to take the stage together and perform a cover of a classic by Vince Gill. The dynamic duo performed a cover of Gill’s 1992 single “Don’t Let Our Love Start Slippin’ Away.” Zach and Posty seem like an unlikely duo, however, the crowd ate up their performance. Their shared love for the legends of country music shines through during their performance of Vince Gill’s hit. Zach Top recently spoke about his time on stage with Post Malone, he joked “Me and Post Malone, bringing country back. Me, him, and Beyonce.” Fans are eager to hear more 90’s covers from the duo.
