Miranda Lambert recently helped raise a huge some of money for animals that have been victims of the California wildfires that have been raging through the greater part of Los Angeles and more. Along with that, the country singer recently shared a special message celebrating these efforts during this time of tragedy. So, what did she say?
California Wildfires Have Been Devastating Across The Board
The California wildfires currently have been wreaking havoc in Los Angeles. The devastation has been severe. So far, at least 27 people have been confirmed dead due to these recent fires. Between the loss of life, loss of homes, and the devastation to the environment, the impact has been significant all across the board.
Another aspect of the damage and loss that is also heartbreaking is all of the wildlife and pets who have lost their lives as the fires have caused the damage. However, there is one person who is fighting to help all of these animals affected by the fires, and that person is Miranda Lambert.
Miranda Lambert Has Always Had A Love For Animals
You’d be hard-pressed to find a bigger advocate for animals out there than Miranda Lambert. In addition to her own furry family members, which includes horses, Miranda and her mother started the MuttNation Foundation to help raise money for shelter pets so that they can find homes.
In addition to that, Miranda also promotes spaying and neutering programs, as well as spreading education in communities surrounding these issues. Lambert also regularly funnels a percentage of her proceeds from concert ticket sales into the foundation. So, it’s a self-sustaining program in many ways.
Miranda Lambert Raises Huge Sum For Animal Wildfire Victims
Based on a recent social media update from Miranda Lambert, thanks to donations from kindhearted donors who gave money to MuttNation, Miranda and the donors have helped raise more than $200k for animal victims and shelter victims affected by the wildfires.
In addition to sharing a short clip breaking the good news, Miranda also wrote: “Thank y’all 💗🙏🐶 Starting today, you can donate to our Relief for Rescues Fund when you check out at @tractorsupplyin store or online. This fund helps us support animals in natural disaster situations, like the California wildfires, and the hurricanes that hit last fall ❤️🩹.”

Fans of Lambert already love her for her music, and everything she has done when it comes to putting out killer albums for the last two decades. However, fans also love her for all the work she does to help animals in need, as she and her generous donors did recently.
