Lauren Alaina just announced that she and her husband, Cam Arnold were expecting their first child together. She shared the news at the beginning of her new single, “Those Kind of Women.” Now, she is sharing her very unique but sweet gender reveal. So, what are she and Cam having when the time comes? Lauren Alaina Shares Unique Gender Reveal
A short time ago, Lauren Alaina shared a clip from her new single, “Those Kind of Women.” She was sitting with her mother who had never heard the song before. It was a special occasion as her mother played an integral part in the lyrics. Lauren and her mama sat side by side as it played and it was such a sweet moment. She noted the single would be out on January 24th but released it earlier. Along with the song, Lauren put a sweet message that she and her husband, Cam Arnold were expecting baby number one. Lauren soon appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show where her bump was on full display.
She noted that it just popped over the last few weeks. The two women had appeared on American Idol with Kelly winning Season 1 and Lauren being a Season 10 runner-up. They chatted and gushed but Lauren did not disclose the baby’s gender just yet. She had good reason for that as she and Cam had an elaborate but unique gender reveal planned. It included their cat, dog, and some paint. They used the paws and the paint to mark up paper in black and white and when it went to color, the gender was disclosed.

Lauren and Cam are having a baby girl, as shared on Instagram. A pink heart was shown on her bump, which Cam had painted on. Little pink and brown paw prints graced the painting paper and they looked thrilled with what was to come. Fans immediately rushed to the comment section upon learning a baby girl was on her way.
A Mini Lauren
Of course, fans and followers only wanted a healthy baby but they were so excited to have a mini Lauren Alaina. They had nothing but compliments for the mother-to-be:

What was even sweeter was the paw print painting was framed and will likely go into the nursery. They had a pink mini cowboy hat and baby Arnold’s sonogram so this was not only special but very unique.
