Morgan Wallen will soon hit the road as part of a major tour, and he has some big names supporting him as opening acts. One of those big names is Miranda Lambert, and she recently clapped back at some nasty comments over choosing to support Wallen. So, what did she say?
Morgan Wallen Will Hit The Road For Major Tour
As one of the biggest country artists in the industry today, Morgan Wallen is one of those names who has no problem drawing a crowd. Recently, the popular singer and chart-topper has been teasing his upcoming shows as part of his I’m The Problem Tour 2025.
Based on recent updates from the singer, he is doing his part to build the hype and get people interested in seeing this new batch of shows. Taking to social media not too long ago, Morgan shared a pic standing in front of a large whiteboard with song names blurred out, as he is hard at work putting together a setlist.
Miranda Lambert Fans Livid Over Opening For Wallen
One of the big names supporting Morgan Wallen on this upcoming tour is none other than Miranda Lambert. As longtime country fans know, Miranda needs no introduction, and she certainly does not need to play second fiddle to anyone. In fact, the sole idea that she is opening for Morgan Wallen rubbed a lot of people the wrong way recently.
- Speaking on Miranda Lambert as an opener for Morgan Wallen, one commenter recently said: “I’m so disappointed in both of you, may God forgive you both.”
- Another commenter chimed in, adding: “You are not a side dish. You’re a main course.”
- A third commenter said: “I’m so confused why you haven’t been entertainer of the year the last several years. I’m further confused on why you’d be opening for anyone. You should be the headliner. What’s going on?”
Lambert Pokes Fun Amid Recent Backlash
Proving that she doesn’t take things (or herself) too seriously, Miranda Lambert recently shared a short clip of herself on social media reading some of these nasty fan comments, with many livid over the fact that she is opening for Morgan Wallen instead of headlining.
Miranda seems more than secure in her decision to come out in support of Wallen, and she clearly is not letting all of the negativity get to her, as fans continue to criticize her move to open when she is a bona fide headliner in her own right.
