Country music superstar Dolly Parton has teamed up with Sabrina Carpenter to perform fan favorite, “Please, Please, Please.” The duo perfectly blends their sounds to give the hit song a country spin. In the original song Carpenter sings “I beg you, don’t embarrass me, mother——.” however, in the country version Dolly and Sabrine take turns singing “I beg you, don’t embarrass me, like the others.”

The original version of “Please Please Please” contained several clever nods to Carpenter’s boyfriend at the time, Barry Keoghan. Sabrina referenced Barry singing, “I heard that you’re an actor, so act like a stand-up guy.” Carpenter and Keoghan dated for about a year before calling it quits in December of 2024.
