A potential Dolly Parton biopic has found its perfect lead. That is if the fans have anything to say about it. Dolly has been waiting on pins and needles for her Broadway show to debut but that has faced some hiccups. Now, Dolly could be played by a young talent in a future film but who is the main choice? Dolly Parton Biopic Has Found Perfect Lead
Country superstar, Dolly Parton has had a very colorful life and fans appreciate that about her. She came from very humble beginnings and has never forgotten that. No matter how much money or success she has, Dolly remains close to her roots and her family. She is also extremely philanthropic as well which has helped millions of children learn to love reading. Furthermore, Dolly has one of the most successful Hollywood marriages of all time. She and Carl Dean have been married for nearly sixty years and they respect one another immensely.
He is very private whereas she loves to be out in the crowds. So, she accommodates him and vice versa and it has yet to fail them. She even slowed down some with her music and touring to take care of Carl. However, that allowed Dolly to launch a beauty line and jewelry collaboration with Kendra Scott. Now, she has teamed up with Sabrina Carpenter for a remix of her song, “Please, Please, Please.” The song was inspired by Dolly and fans loved seeing them together. So much so that they think Sabrina should play Dolly in a biopic.

Nothing has been confirmed regarding a Dolly movie but she stated, back in 2022, that she would love to do a film about her life:
I do intend someday to be on Broadway, but I’m thinking now that I might do my life story as a feature. Maybe possibly even a musical feature, so we’re in talks about that.
At the time, she wanted Kristin Chenoweth who is a brilliant singer and actor. However, once fans saw Dolly and Sabrina together, they knew they were one and the same.
A Match Made In Heaven
After seeing Sabrina Carpenter and Dolly Parton in the “Please, Please, Please” video, fans felt they had found their little Dolly. Sabrina was a Disney actress for years and just won two Grammys so this would be absolutely perfect:

- Sabrina could absolutely play Dolly in a biopic
- Oh my gosh that’s all I can think about now.
- The way you two look completely related. Absolutely the spitting image of each other!
- I’m just saying – if there’s ever a dolly movie based off her life Sabrina Carpenter can definitely play her I think
The fans have spoken and maybe this collaboration was a test to see if they responded well to Sabrina and Dolly. Looks like they did so if the biopic is a go, Sabrina would likely be a frontrunner.
