Zach Bryan seems to be a magnet for controversy of late, as the latest incident took place at a local bar in New York City. So, what happened this time around with the “Something in the Orange” singer?
Zach Bryan Has Been Under Scrutiny Since High-Profile Split
Zach Bryan has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons of late. He had a high-profile split from Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia that played out in all of the tabloids and online. When two famous people date each other, this tends to be what happens once things sour.
It went as far as people releasing diss tracks against Zach, and many listeners even boycotted his music and refused to attend his shows. As all of this was going on, Zach still had to go out there and play shows, only with a much bigger spotlight on him than usual.
Bryan In The Hot Seat Again Following NYC Bar Incident
Zach Bryan was recently in hot water once again, and this time, trouble found him in a New York City bar. Zach joined some patrons to play pool. However, what started out as a friendly game eventually took a turn for the worse, based on the events that followed.
It turns out, Zach and his crew ran into this group around midnight at a bar in the West Village. According to TMZ, after losing a couple of games, the mood soured for Zach, with one person who was there saying that Zach’s demeanor “changed on the drop of a dime.”
One of the people who played Zach had on a pair of Meta glasses, capable of recording. At one point, Zach said: “You’re gonna see some terrible things tonight.”
Zach Bryan Uses Gay Slur As Things Escalate
Of course, whenever booze and pool are involved, there is always the chance for things to go south, especially if one party continues to lose. At one point, TMZ also notes that the person wearing the glasses said: “I’m not trying to record your a**. I’m trying to record my s**t with my friends, for memories, to have fun, and you’re just being a douche.”
To this, Zach Bryan replied: “That’s the gayest thing I’ve ever heard.” Knowing that the glasses were also recording, Zach then added: “I wanna rip them off your face so bad, ’cause we’re at a bar.”

Apparently, this was when Zach Bryan’s entourage stepped in, as they are used to his antics. Luckily, they were able to come in and de-escalate the situation before things got even more out of hand.
