Morgan Wallen is making a return to Saturday Night Live as the musical guest this weekend. However, based on the teaser featuring the artist participating in one of the sketches, many commenters are taking to social media to tear into it. So, what are commenters saying?
Morgan Wallen Has Leaned Into His Bad-Boy Persona
When it comes to Morgan Wallen and his country music career, he is one of the top acts around. Not only does he consistently release killer tunes, but, he keeps himself in the headlines as well. Wallen has leaned into his bad-boy of country music persona over the years, and it’s a moniker that fits him rather well.
He is known to drink and party, and, every once in a while, his antics do get him in trouble. Fans of his will remember the chair-throwing incident that happened sometime back. Even though he does do good in his community, there is no denying that he also has no problem adopting that bad-boy moniker and using it to his advantage.
Wallen Returns To Saturday Night Live As The Musical Guest
This weekend, the “Whiskey Glasses” singer is returning to Saturday Night Live as the musical guest. Wallen has had an eventful history with the long-standing program, and at one point, many thought he would never be welcome on the popular program again.
Back in 2020, right before Wallen’s Saturday Night Live debut, he was filmed maskless and making out with several college girls during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, he was given the boot from the show for violating the pre-show quarantine rules, and it seemed like he would never get an invite back. This weekend, however, he is the musical guest on the program, and this will mark his second time making an appearance.
Because Morgan Wallen does like to party, his making out with a bunch of college girls in Alabama seems like exactly the kind of thing he would do, and it seems Saturday Night Live has forgiven him for these past transgressions.

A recent Saturday Night Live promo featuring Morgan Wallen has been making the rounds, and viewers already have a lot to say about it. The clip in question features host Mikey Madison and Wallen at her side as the musical guest, and many viewers pointed out that Wallen looks like he hates her guts, and he looks like he would rather be anywhere else but there.
Of course, Saturday Night Live skits and things related to the show are meant to be cheesy, cringe, and even awkward at times. Even so, many commenters drew attention to this recent promo, and they had a lot to say about it as well. The recent clip making the rounds features several different outtakes, and Wallen looks equally miserable in each one.
