Dolly Parton Releasing Huge New Product
When Dolly Parton’s husband, Carl Dean, fell ill, she opted to slow down her travel and work schedule. Yet, being Dolly, she still kept herself very busy. She did a jewelry collaboration with Kendra Scott to honor her legendary music. Then, she released her own beauty line, which made a lot of sense given that Dolly loves to get dolled up. Keeping with her love of cooking, she and her sister Rachel wrote a cookbook with their favorite family recipes. Then, Dolly collaborated with Sabrina Carpenter on a country remix of “Please, Please, Please,” and worked with Good American on ‘Joleans.’
Unfortunately, on March 3rd, 2025, Dolly’s husband of sixty years passed away, and that was soul-crushing. She quickly released a song dedicated to him and their love. Now, she has something incredibly special for fans that will make the perfect holiday gift. Dolly announced that she is releasing a new book, Star of the Show: My Life on Stage! This will be unlike any other book she has released, given that it will celebrate her life in the spotlight. There will be stories, candid photos, and a ton of memories from Dolly herself.

Dolly Parton’s book will come in two versions, Standard and Deluxe hardcover, so this is perfect for the coffee table. She has had a career spanning decades, not just in music but philanthropy and film. Therefore, anything can be unveiled with these never-before-seen photos. The one difference between the two books is that the Deluxe edition has a touch more, so this is a true collector’s item. After this was announced, fans were thrilled at the newest addition to Dolly’s collection.
When Will It Be Released?
As of now, Dolly Parton’s Star of the Show: My Life on Stage! will be available on November 11th. It will likely feature her late husband and their time together, as well as her many performances. Once fans learned of this new book, they raced to the comment section to share their excitement:
