Miranda Lambert has been happily married to Brendan McLoughlin for years now. Still, just like every married couple, there are things that husbands and wives do that completely annoy one another. According to Miranda, she recently revealed the one thing that she and her husband regularly fight about. So, what is it?
Miranda Lambert And Brendan McLoughlin Are An Unlikely Pair
One of the most surprising things about Miranda Lambert’s marriage to Brendan McLoughlin is the simple fact that they’ve managed to keep it going as long as they have. They continue to prove that someone from the south can fall in love with someone up north, and that, when the love is real, a celebrity can fall in love with a regular guy.
This has been exactly the situation with Miranda Lambert and her husband. However, the fact that Brendan is from New York and not born and bred in the country seems to be the exact recipe that these two rely on to balance one another. Lambert regularly talks about how her husband keeps her grounded, and how he isn’t afraid to tell her no when she needs to hear it.
Lambert Dishes On The One Thing She And Brendan Fight About
As much as Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin do get along, the country superstar recently revealed that there is one thing that they fight about regularly as a couple. According to Miranda, she said she can’t deal with the way that her husband drives.
It seems, when you’re used to driving in New York City like Brendan McLoughlin is, that’s not something that you can just turn off. According to Miranda Lambert, she said: “He drives like a cop in New York City, and we’re just, like, in Green Hills, in Nashville. I’m like, ‘What are we doing?'”
Brendan Also Judges Miranda Lambert When She Is Behind The Wheel
The way Miranda Lambert tells it, her husband even judges her when she is the one behind the wheel. So, it really seems like there are some aspects of being a New York City cop that never go away, even when the pair are comfortably living their lives in Tennessee.
Continuing on about the driving situation, Lambert said: “He’s like, judging my parking, and it’s so stressful. Two summers ago, I took all of July off, and we went to like, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Utah. When we first got the trailer, he had never driven a trailer. He’s from the city. So I drove for, like, the first six months we had the trailer.”
Lambert went on, adding: “Then, he started driving, and he’s really good at it. So we fought less … but I still judge him.”
Overall, if the biggest thing that Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin fight about in their marriage is who’s driving, they seem to have this marriage thing figured out rather well.
