Dibs Gets Diagnosed With Cancer
Dibs is Kelsea Ballerini’s dog. She has grown up with him and he has been there throughout some of the hardest stages of her life. Kelsea has gone through a divorce, and Dibs was there for her during that time. Sadly, he was diagnosed with an inoperable cancer in his heart. Kelsea revealed that they did not give him much time to live. However, he has exceeded those expectations. Dibs is still as happy as ever.

Kelsea Ballerini has asked fans to stay away from Dibs. A fan commented on one of her posts that they wanted Dibs to go to Nashville. Kelsea replied:
dibby gets to come to around half of the east coast run- which brings me to- if you see him/us outside the arena for a potty break or quick little walk, politely please remember he’s sick and easily overwhelmed right now so it’s probably not the right time to say hey. but if it’s just me, bring on the hugs forever obviously. just wanna protect our little fur baby and keep him safe and comfortable while he’s having his little tour time. ❤️🩹
Fans understand where Kelsea is coming from. She wants to keep her furbaby as safe as possible. Dibs is her soul dog and she will do anything to prolong his life. Fans are going to respect her boundaries while on tour.

It seems that Dibs is not feeling well. So, Kelsea does not want him to get overwhelmed or anxious. She does not want fans coming up to her while she has Dibs on tour. Fans do not blame Kelsea for asking them to keep their distance. Dibs means the world to her and she would do anything to make him happy.
