Carly Pearce started her concert by telling the crowd she felt under the weather. She had picked up the flu while in the UK. Pearce told the crowd she would do a stripped-down version of her show for them. She said, “Yall, the last few days I have been battling feeling sick, but yesterday the flu hit me right in the face…With the help of my doctor and team, we will finish out this tour strong, and I will give you everything I have.” Pearce gave the crowd a simple show that wasn’t the full production with her entire band. The crowd seemed to love Carly’s performance. She told the crowd it was her favorite way to perform, so they should make the best of it. However, some of the crowd didn’t take this message to heart.
