AMAs Hand Out A Lot Of Country Awards, But Don’t Air Them
The AMAs took place last night. However, they handed out a lot of country music awards. The sad part is, a lot of these awards weren’t shown. However, Sam Barber won the breakthrough country artist. Ella Langley was named the best female artist. Zac Brown Band won best country duo or group. Megan Moroney won the best country album. Ella Langley also won best country song. Morgan Wallen was also a winner. He won the best male country artist. Fans loved hearing all of the country wins.
Matt Rife Makes Joke About Morgan Wallen And Award Appearance
Matt Rife made a joke about Morgan Wallen not showing up to the awards show. At first, he joked about welcoming Morgan to his first appearance.
“Making his very first AMA appearance, Morgan Wallen.”
The camera showed someone who looked a little like Morgan. However, he then made another joke.
“I’m kidding. Why would you even look? Of course that’s not him. He hates awards shows. He’ll never be here. He’s too busy selling out two shows on the moon, right now.”
This is true. Morgan is selling out stadiums and not attending award shows. This is something that he has chosen to do. However, he usually does not win anything. This is why he does not show up.

It seems as though everyone knew Morgan was not going to be there. He does not usually show up for awards shows. However, this could be because he never really wins anything. He won something at the AMAs. However, this was a fan-vote award. When they are not, Morgan doesn’t win, and he gets snubbed instead. So, no one blames him for not showing up.
