Breakout country artist Gabby Barrett is expecting her first child with her husband, Cade Foehner, and admits ‘#wehavesomeworktodo’.
Gabby Barret and Cade Fohner are Getting in Some Practice
Gabby Barrett has only a few weeks left before she and her husband, Cade Foehner will welcome their first child into the world. Despite the anxiety that comes at the end of any pregnancy, the singer is keeping things light. The 20-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday and posted a video that she called ‘Diaper Prep 101.’ The short clip featured Gabby filming her husband as he ‘practiced’ his diaper changing skills on an unexpected stuffed lamb.
In the video, Cade stands in front of a changing table with his hair pulled back and his shirt sleeves pushed up. From behind the camera Gabby Barrett explains to fans that the pair are ‘learning to change diapers’ and that Cade will be ‘taking them through the process.’ The next minute or so of the video features the singers devoted young husband changing the stuffed animal’s diaper ‘rodeo’ style while Gabby pops in with some hilarious banter now and again.
After Cade pretends to wipe the baby’s bottom with his hand and throws away the chocolate-filled diaper, we hear Gabby laugh behind the camera as she exclaims ‘Folks, we got some work to do.’
Gabby Barrett has had an Exciting Year
Despite 2020 being a nightmare for most – Gabby Barrett really seems to have made the most of it. The CMA nominated artist found out she was pregnant back in May. She and now husband, Cade, married in October of this year. The pair tied the knot in a small ceremony – celebrating with about 100 friends and family members. The pair met back in 2018 when they both appeared as contestants on season 16 of American Idol.
The young country artist also scored her first major billboard #1 this year with Solo single ‘I Hope’. The monster track has been quite the earworm this year even getting re-recorded as a duet with pop sensation Charlie Puth.
As the year rolls over – we wish Gabby Barrett continued chart success and can’t wait to see the pics of the new baby once she arrives. Don’t Worry – you know we will share!
