Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have been rumored to have negative feelings towards each other for a while. However, now Kelly is speaking out about the drama on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen. The two singers are both known for getting their start on the show American Idol. What could Carrie and Kelly be mad at each other about?
What Celebrity Was Mean To Kelly?
Clarkson played a game of “Plead the Fifth” with Cohen on an episode of WWHL. According to Hollywood Life during the game, Kelly was asked to name a celebrity that was not very nice to her after she won her season of American Idol. Kelly wouldn’t say any names but gives a hint as to who it could be.
“I will say a lot of them ended up on shows like the one I’m from. It’s funny what money does.”
Who do you speculate was rude to her? Clarkson did not want to start anything obviously because she would not give the exact person away. Viewers feel that Kelly is one of the nicest celebrities and does not understand how she could have drama with anyone. However, fans even think Kelly and Carrie have some internal beef with each other.

Kelly Clarkson Tells The Truth
Well, Kelly Clarkson was quick to put down the rumor when it was addressed.
“People always pit us together and we don’t even know each other well enough to be pitted against each other, literally, we’ve ran into each other a handful of times. There’s no beef between us. There’s nothing between us. We don’t know each other. We’ve literally run into each other a few times.”
Now fans are confused about how the rumor even got started if they barely even know each other. Clarkson even had Underwood on her show during the pandemic. Kelly even pointed out that she would like to have Carrie on her show in person since she was only on her show via Zoom because of Covid.
Kelly Clarkson also feels that they got pinned against each other just because they are women in the same industry. Clarkson expressed that she feels if they were “dudes” this wouldn’t have happened. Is she necessarily wrong? Women have always been known to be the underdogs in the world.
Thank goodness there is no drama between the two. Fans are not certain as to why they thought there was beef between the two but are now glad to know that they are on good terms.
