Kelsea Ballerini is currently performing her Heartfirst tour. On June 28, Ballerini was performing in Boise, Idaho when she was struck in the face. Fans were immediately shocked and some even caught the moment on camera. The videos have since then been posted to different social media and Kelsea’s official fan account spoke out.
Kelsea Ballerini Is Quickly Becoming Popular
The 29-year-old country singer has quickly become popular after the latest release of her EP, “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat”. The EP is solely about her divorce and marriage with Morgan Evans. Fans have got an inside look at what their marriage was really like and how it made Kelsea feel. However, Kelsea has moved on and is doing better than ever. She is currently dating Outer Banks star, Chase Stokes. The two have become very popular on social media and fans are gushing over the relationship. Chase has been an amazing boyfriend to Kelsea and fans are ecstatic that Kelsea found someone good to her.
Flying Objects Are A No Go
For as long as fans can remember there have been rules about not throwing objects at artists during a concert. This did not used to be such a frequent occurrence in the past, however, it seems to be happening more often now. TV Shows Ace reported in early June, Beba Rexha was struck in the face by a cellphone. Not only that, but also this month Ava Max got slapped by a man and Pink had a fan’s mother’s ashes thrown on stage. Pink was visibly bothered by the situation.
Kelsea was playing at Outlaw Field in Idaho when she was suddenly struck by an object while in the middle of one of her songs. The object thrown at Ballerini was a friendship bracelet of some kind. Ballerini is a Swiftie and loves what Taylor Swift does. Right now, Swifties are making friendship bracelets to trade with each other, and some Ballerini fans have been doing the same. So, they think it was a fan trying to trade a bracelet with Kelsea. After the singer was hit in the face, she did have to take a break and go off stage before she returned.
Kelsea made an update on her Instagram story, she is fine and it just scared her. Fans are glad Kelsea isn’t hurt, but feel bad that she was startled. Kelsea has two shows remaining on her Heartfirst tour.
Regardless of if the fan meant any harm by throwing the object at Kelsea or not, throwing things at an artist is never a good option.
