Lee Greenwood Comes To Jason’s Defense

Country singer Lee Greenwood is speaking out and defending Jason Aldean. Taste Of Country shared what he had to say about it all. In an interview on Jesse Watters Primetime, he talked about it all. Lee is a huge fan of Jason. Here is what he had to say:

“I am a Jason Aldean fan. He is the biggest patriot, like a lot of us, It has nothing to do with racism. This is about people trying to take away the freedom of expression. It is a great song. I wish I had it. When it first came out, I was all over that. I love Jason’s approach.”

Country music legend Lee Greenwood explained that you have to listen to the lyrics before you watch the video. He said that the lyrics don’t mean what people are saying at all. Lee said people can’t take your freedom away and that in a small town you know everybody. Lee is from a small town in California. He says that rural America is the heart of America. He went on to explain that having a gun in your home is about hunting and about having the right to own the gun. Greenwood said the problem is the idiots who take to the streets and kill other people.

He was asked why the media is more upset about a song about deadly riots than the riots themselves. As Lee pointed out, this song doesn’t talk about it at all, but the video did show a few scenes from them. The song doesn’t say anything except that “we take care of each other in a small town” according to Lee Greenwood.
