Is Jason Aldean suing The View hosts to include Whoopi Goldberg?

Fans are trying to figure out if the rumors flying around the internet hold any truth about Jason Aldean suing Whoopi Goldberg and the other View hosts, Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin.

According to SKPop, reports surfaced on a news site called The Dunning-Kruger Times that country singer Jason Aldean is suing Whoopi Goldberg for $40 million after she basically called him racist on The View.

The original report goes on to say that at one time Whoopi had gone into a crowded theater and shouted “fire.” The original report claimed that Whoopi shouted “fire” in a “crowded theater.” It went on to say that Jason Aldean’s attorney Joe Barron said that Whoopi “needs to pay for her little stunt.”

Part of the originally posted report also shared that Whoopi was reportedly not worried about any potential legal proceedings because she was using her first amendment rights.

While many fans thought the report could very well be accurate, it turns out it was all false information.

Why was the original report posted?

As it turns out, The Dunning-Kruger Times is a parody site. In fact, the site even lets viewers know their reports are fictional. Their site says, “If you believe that it is real, you should have your head examined. Any similarities between this site’s pure fantasy and actual people, places, and events are purely coincidental.”

The original report is false and Jason Aldean is not suing Whoopi Goldberg. However, she did slam Aldean and his song. Goldberg did say that Aldean had gone too far with his song. The other two hosts, Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin also slammed Aldean. They both relentlessly slammed the song and called it “deplorable” and “annoying.”
