This Friday, Shelton plans to set up an acoustic set for his fans. At 7:30, he’ll hop on stage for 30 minutes and turn the microphone over to a brand new artist playing publicly for the first time. The show is set to go off without a hitch at the Ole Red Tishomingo Doghouse. Additionally, Blake teased fans with the potential of mystery guests showing up. Many fans commented on his post to try to get a response about who the potential guests may be. They threw his wife, Gwen Stefani’s name into the mix, doting on her talent. The two began seeing each other in 2015 while forming a friendship over mutual hardship with divorce and life’s many hurdles. They’ve since sung plenty of duets together, like “Happy Anywhere and “Nobody Like You”.

Being a performer is one thing, but maintaining being in good graces with your following has proven to be a slippery slope for many artists. And still, Blake continues to show us that he’s not like the rest of the scene. Since Blake announced his performance, fans have taken to social media in a frenzy. There’s speculation about what songs he’ll play, and if he’ll be singing along with any of the mystery guests. Fans have written that they’ll come from across the states to catch the show. Some came up with clever ways to convince their spouse to drive them all the way across Texas. It’s a night that no one wants to miss!
