Oliver Anthony has announced he is going to have a concert tour next year. The country music superstar and singer of “Rich Men North Of Richmond” took to Facebook and posted about his future plans. In his Facebook post, he said he would be touring the U.S. as well as internationally.

Still No Label For Oliver Anthony

Despite his recent deal with UTA, who also represents Taylor Swift, Oliver Anthony still doesn’t have a record label. It appears he wants to keep creating his music on his own. Based on his post, he isn’t likely to be signing with a record label any time soon.

“As I said early on, I am not signing any deals or selling any percentage of my music. There’s no amount of money that is worth risking the direct line of communication you and I currently have,” Oliver Anthony said on Facebook. “There was no ‘major industry deal’ signed. These articles make it seem like I signed with a record label. Booking agents don’t even have contracts to sign, it’s all verbal.”

What Is UTA’s Role In Oliver Anthony’s Career?

From Oliver Anthony’s post on Facebook, it appears he will only be using UTA to help with booking concerts. In the past, a friend, who is actually a plumber, was making the arrangements for Anthony’s concerts. With all the drama over ticket prices and concerts being canceled and rescheduled, this could be helpful to the “Ain’t Gotta Dollar” singer.

“I am pleased to announce that I hired two gentlemen in Nashville this week to help me with creating the 2024 tour. We’re going to be all over the US, and even doing some international travel,” Oliver Anthony posted on Facebook. “There’s no way I can pull that off by myself. Curt and Jeffery at UTA do all the legwork to make the performances happen safely and professionally.” Nothing was mentioned about the prices for the upcoming tour.

Oliver Anthony Wants To Keep It Simple

Based on his recent Facebook post, it appears Oliver Anthony wants to keep his music, concerts and entire country music career simple. He wants to maintain control of his music and how it is shared with the world. Oliver Anthony’s fans will just have to see how his deal with UTA plays out and if he is able to survive in country music without using a record label.

We want to know what you think. Are you excited about his 2024 tour? Will you be buying tickets? Will working with UTA be beneficial to Oliver Anthony? Are they taking advantage of him? Are you happy he has to sign with a record label? Share your thoughts and feelings in the comments below.
