Luke Grimes Yellowstone Star
Grimes is making his debut in country music. Although acting came first for the Yellowstone star, music was always a passion. He tells night show host Jimmy Kimmel:
“I’ve been playing music since I was a kid. You know, both of the dreams were sort of simultaneous and acting just sort of paid the bills. Then I had this opportunity and I thought, you know, I could sit here and worry about what everybody’s going to think about it or I could just give it a shot.”
His Future Music Plans
“Burn” tells the story of a man betrayed by a lover who never intended to stay. Despite knowing he’ll be burned in the end, the narrator willingly allows himself to be used. He savors every moment with her, hoping that when she departs, she’ll ignite him and let him burn. The song “Burn” is featured on Grimes’ debut EP, ‘Pain Pills or Pews’. Grimes wrote the song by himself and five other songs on the project. As reported to Taste of Country Grimes will likely perform the entire EP, which consists of only eight songs, at every show. Pain Pills or Pews is out now. Grimes’ tour ends in Boston on Dec. 16.
