Gwen Stefani has embraced a new venture beyond her position on The Voice. She has been selected for a new hosting role on Today With Hoda & Jenna, sparking speculation among fans about her potential departure from the singing competition. Backstage snapshots featuring Gwen Stefani, 54, and her co-host Zanna Rassi, 41, were posted on Instagram before their Today segment, “Shop to Drop,” was filmed. The rock star looked striking in a white top paired with a red lace lingerie ensemble, while the entertainment journalist opted for an all-black outfit. These pictures were showcased in a carousel slideshow shared on Gwen’s personal Instagram account and the official Today With Hoda & Jenna account. The post was captioned:

“We’re so excited to launch our new series Shop the Drop with @zannarassi and @gwenstefani on @hodaandjenna!” And the best part? Gwen has an exciting discount for us you won’t want to miss.!…”

“Shop to Drop” premiered on Today on Wednesday.

Is Gwen fired?

Gwen may be leaving The Voice as her latest business move suggests she’s stepping away. No Doubt’s frontwoman faced backlash for choosing singers on Monday’s episode. Gwen saved BIAS and Kara Tenae, but stole Stee from fellow coach John Legend. The Sweet Escape singer seemed unsure while choosing Kara for the last spot on her team, according to The U.S. Sun. This follows when Gwen receives calls for her dismissal from the music competition. She faced criticism from fans for her indecisive judging style, especially when eliminating her team members. On The Voice, judges had to pit two team members against each other, which proved challenging. Gwen’s indecisiveness frustrated some Voice viewers. Some added on X, formerly known as Twitter:

“After this knockout, I wouldn’t blame Gwen for not coming back as a coach…Gwen’s team is the weakest. She swears she knows what she is doing with these singers, and it’s clear she doesn’t.”
