Blake Shelton is taking his dirty mind out to play for this week’s episode of Barmaggedon. It is the show that he co-hosts alongside Carson Daly and Nikki Garcia (Bella). So, why did he go to the naughty side and what game were they playing? Read on for more details.
Blake Shelton Let’s His Dirty Mind Play Barmageddon
Bar games can be fun but they are made even more exciting on Barmageddon with Blake Shelton and his slew of celebrity guests. Now that he has left The Voice behind, he has been able to focus on his other ventures. This includes his movies, music, family with wife, Gwen Stefani, and his new Las Vegas eatery, Ole Red. Finally, he loves co-hosting Barmageddon, which airs weekly on USA. For those who have never seen the show, Shelton’s goal was to make a “real-life The Hangover.” He went on to say: “We wanted to try to capture that in a TV show with people that we know.”
At first, he just wanted to be an onlooker and enjoy the festivities but being a part of the show has now become just as exciting. Now, according to People, Blake gets into an intense version of Pictionary and somehow, Blake’s mind wanders. Chris Hardwick, who hosted The Talking Dead, and comedian Rob Riggle, start the game. As Hardwick is drawing, Carson Daly tries to figure out what the image is but admits his eyesight is awful. Next up is Riggle and Shelton but the latter is the guesser and a bad one, at that.
He starts to guess and this is what comes out of his mouth: “D— tater. It’s a kitten, nipple, that’s a nipple! Condom, it’s a condom, it’s an unrolled condom! Christmas lights… what in the hell is it? A spider?” Finally, after a series of unfortunate guesses, Blake realizes the drawing is of a crawfish. Chris Hardwick makes his competition aware of how long it actually took them to get the correct answer. He thinks it was around ten minutes.
Dumb Men, Great Ideas
For Carson Daly, he believes that he and Blake Shelton are “both very dumb men, and we come up with lots of what we think are great ideas.” Obviously, they were right about Barmageddon as this has taken off like wildfire. Viewers have so much fun watching their antics. Plus, it helped ease the pain of Blake leaving The Voice after twenty-three seasons. Those who love seeing him on reality television get to still catch him, just in a different format.
Would you be interested in playing any of these games? Let us know in the comments below. To catch this exciting and somewhat dirty version of Pictionary, Barmageddon airs Mondays on USA at 11 pm EST.
