What’s The Scoop On New Record?
Since Oliver Anthony first went viral, listeners compare him to other industry titans. Some of these include Chris Stapleton and Tyler Childers. Naturally, listeners are eager for Anthony to release his debut record. In the meantime, he recently gave his fans the scoop on what to expect, as well as the recording process.
Caleb Dillard, a member of Anthony’s band, said recently that they are “half way done” with the record. The debut tentatively has 16 tracks in total, with Rich Men North Of Richmond fittingly kicking off the record as the first track. So, it certainly looks like they are making steady progress. Anthony also assured his fans that he won’t let them down with his new offerings.
Shortly before that, Anthony revealed that he is recording the record inside an old Georgia church, something that will no doubt add to the overall feel of it. Between the recording process being at the halfway point and initial projections suggesting a 2024 release, things seem to be right on schedule for Oliver Anthony, and his fans can’t wait to hear what he has been working on.
