Gary LeVox recently shared a throwback photo that was a major rewind. For many people, ringing in 2024 is a time to look forward to what the year has in store. In Gary LeVox’s case, the former Rascal Flatts singer recently decided to look back, nearly 20 years, to be exact, as he shared a wild throwback pic with Carrie Underwood. So, what else did the singer have to say?
Rascal Flatts Are Currently No More
After over two decades of making music, Rascal Flatts is currently disbanded. Even though the band had plans to make an official farewell tour, this was right around the time that the pandemic hit, essentially throwing a wrench into those plans. So, by 2021, the trio of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney officially called it quits.
Not long after that, many fans wondered what went wrong, as Rascal Flatts rose to the top of the industry over the course of their career. Even though fans are still hopeful for an eventual reconciliation, Gary LeVox has certainly kept himself busy since the band went their separate ways.
What Has Gary LeVox Been Doing Since Band Split?
With Rascal Flatts split up, many may be wondering what Gary LeVox has been up to since then. Indeed, he is one of the most recognizable voices in country music today. So, even after the band called it quits, it was hard to imagine LeVox being away from a microphone for long.
It turns out, Gary LeVox has been a solo act post-split. As the lead voice behind Rascal Flatts, in many ways, this was a no-brainer for him. In May of 2021, LeVox released a 5-track EP called One On One. Even though it wasn’t a full record, many of his fans were simply happy to hear from him again, and happy overall that he was back to making music.
On top of that, he teased solo tour dates in the works for 2024. So, that will be something else for fans to look forward to this year.
Gary LeVox Shares Throwback Pic With Carrie Underwood
With 2024 in full swing, many of Gary LeVox’s fans are curious about his plans for the year, including what cities he will play in. Indeed, while it’s certainly important to look forward when a new year comes, LeVox recently took a walk down memory lane with one of the updates he shared with his fans.
It turns out, LeVox shared a pic that turned the clock back nearly 20 years. The update in question was a pic he took with none other than Carrie Underwood back in 2005. If nothing else, the fashion in the pic certainly reflects the time, as LeVox completed his look back then with frosted tips.
Of course, Carrie Underwood looks as elegant as ever in the throwback pic. According to LeVox, he just “had to share” this photo with his “sista”.

One fan suggested that Gary LeVox bring out the blazer he wore in the pic and have it be in style again, while another fan encouraged him to record a duet with Carrie Underwood. Of course, with a new year underway, both of these things could potentially happen, although, it might be best to leave the frosted tips back in 2005.
