Like many performers, Miranda Lambert has a unique pre-show ritual that she does before she takes the stage. So, what does the Gunpowder & Led songstress do to shake the jitters?
Miranda Lambert Recently Turned 40
It seems like a lifetime ago that Miranda Lambert first turned heads while competing in the reality singing competition, Nashville Star. Even though Lambert didn’t win her season, she made enough of an impression that she was able to launch her career. Fast-forward to today, Miranda is a household name. In a recent interview with Tamron Hall, the singer talked about how it feels to be 40. Additionally, she shared where she is at in life, and much more.
Since hitting the big 4-0, one of the things Miranda Lambert said is that she is a lot more “open” to whatever life puts in her path. So, she has certainly grown a lot and gained her fair share of wisdom since releasing her debut album, Kerosene, in 2005.
Country Veteran Open To New Things
One way that Miranda Lambert has proven that she is open to walking a new path is with her love life. As famous musicians often do, they go after other famous musicians. For one, they live the same lifestyle and are accustomed to long tours and life on the road.
However, after a string of relationships with fellow musicians went south, Miranda found love with New York cop, Brendan McLoughlin. Even though the pair have completely different lifestyles, the dynamic clearly works for them, as they’ve been happily married for years.
Indeed, this is a prime example of Miranda Lambert being open to breaking the pattern of dating musicians and trying something new. As a result, she is reaping the rewards from taking that chance. Indeed, many of her fans agree that they’ve never seen her happier.
Lambert Recently Dished On Pre-Show Ritual
Even for someone like Miranda Lambert, who has been performing since she was a teenager, she needs a little kick-start to put some pep in her step before she takes the stage. According to the singer, she has a pre-show ritual that helps to get her mind right before belting numerous hits.
It turns out, before facing the bright lights and fan screams, Lambert and her crew take shots of tequila, with a twist. Lambert spilled that the shots are on a communion tray and that this is their version of communion. Certainly, this pre-show ritual has taken hold. When you consider that Miranda has been successful in the biz for over two decades, she’s certainly doing something right.
