Emily Ann Roberts has a thriving career in the country music industry, and, she is even getting ready to tour with her The Voice mentor, Blake Shelton. This is particularly interesting given Shelton’s rocky marriage with Gwen Stefani. So, what else can fans expect?
Emily Ann Roberts Made A Name For Herself On The Voice
Emily Ann Roberts first garnered national attention when she competed on The Voice. As luck would have it, the country singer was paired with none other than Blake Shelton, an ideal match given her style. She even secured her spot as a finalist on Season 9 of the reality singing competition.
After The Voice, Roberts took time off to focus on school, before eventually releasing her first single in 2018, Stuck on Me and You. Since then, her star has continued to rise. From the looks of it, things will be even brighter for her in 2024.
Emily Ann Roberts Released Debut Album In 2023
Following the release of an EP in 2019, called Someday Dream, Emily Ann Roberts released her full-length debut album, called Can’t Hide Country, in 2023.
The Tennessee native has been candid about the things she has struggled with since coming on the scene, including the way she tried to fit into a certain mold in the beginning. For years, she struggled to find her footing, and had to come to terms with what she would need to do to carve out her own space in the industry.
In a lot of ways, Can’t Hide Country is a testament to that. Though it may have taken her a few years to iron out some things, it seems as though Emily Ann Roberts has finally found her voice with her debut record.

Roberts Reuniting With Blake Shelton For Upcoming Tour
When Emily Ann Roberts first met Blake Shelton, he took her under his wing as his protege. However, this time around, the pair are getting ready for a tour, reuniting not as teacher and student, but as equal partners in the endeavor.
Of course, The Voice fans remember the kind of relationship these two had in the singing competition. So, it makes perfect sense for them to hit the road.
Interestingly, Roberts and Shelton touring together comes at a time when Blake’s relationship with wife Gwen Stefani has been on the rocks. So, whether or not things get even worse for Blake and Gwen as he hits the road with Roberts will be something to keep an eye on.

Blake Shelton’s Back To The Honky Tonk Tour kicks off on February 22 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and ends on March 29 in Wichita, Kansas. In total, there are 17 dates. Along with Roberts, Blake Shelton will also be joined by Dustin Lynch. If this tour is making a stop in your city, it’s sure to be a good time.
