Kelly Clarkson’s “Kellyoke” segment to her television talk show is quite popular. It could be due to the fact the first-ever American Idol winner is not only a talented singer, but she choses songs her fans love. She picked another great song from Miley Cyrus’ long list of hits.
“Jaded” Was Selected for Kellyoke
Kelly Clarkson, who is now 41 years old, chose “Jaded.” This ballad is one of Miley Cyrus’ hits from last year. As with every performance, Clarkson nailed it.
This is the second time the “Since U Been Gone” singer has chosen a song recorded by Miley Cyrus. The first Miley Cyrus song she sang on her hit TV talk show’s Kellyoke segment was “Used To Be Young.” She performed this Cyrus hit earlier this month. Fans of both Kelly Clarkson and Cyrus went wild over Clarkson’s rendition.
Kelly Clarkson is a huge fan of Miley Cyrus. Although some may not have appreciated Cyrus’ wild and crazy days, no one can deny Dolly Parton’s goddaughter and the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, made famous by both his daughter and his hit “Achy Breaky Heart,” has got a set of pipes on her. Her music talent far outweighs the drama of her younger years.
Stage Presence Is Everything
The “Because Of You” singer has always had a beautiful and powerful stage presence, but it was especially true when she sang “Jaded” on her TV show. Kelly Clarkson was certainly dressed for the Kellyoke segment. She wore a multi-color, color-block dress. The lights surrounding the stage were turned to a purple color, helping to set the stage for Kelly Clarkson’s performance. Of course, her band was playing in the background. Clarkson and her entire stage were beautiful.
Seeing Kelly Clarkson is such a big fan of the “Wrecking Ball” singer, viewers will have to stay tuned to see which Miley Cyrus song she will sing. Seeing she has already sung two of Cyrus’ songs this month, it is possible there is another one just around the corner.

Miley Cyrus’ Future Plans
Both of Miley Cyrus’ songs will be featured on Cyrus’ next studio album, Endless Summer Vacation. That album is set to be released soon, in March of this year. To promote this new studio album, Miley Cyrus, who is now 31 years old, joined forces with Selena Gomez for a new collaboration with her fellow Disney Channel alum.
