Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton recently went through the rumors of them splitting a few months ago. However, they have seemed to successfully shut down the rumors and show fans that they are still in love with each other. The two recently wrote and song together and were able to perform it at Blake’s concert. Now they have posted their love on social media for fans to see.
Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Separation Rumors
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani had rumors created about their relationship. Fans and other sources thought the marriage was going downhill. Comments were made that the two used to be “inseparable” and that did not seem to be the case anymore. Fans thought their careers were getting in the way of their marriage. However, they shut down the rumors quickly. Over the weekend, the two went on a walk on their farm in Oklahoma. Gwen showed pictures of Blake picking flowers for her as they went on an afternoon stroll. She also shared a picture of them kissing. It is safe to say the two are doing much better.
The Two Write A Song Together
Gwen and Blake wrote “Purple Irises” together and got to perform it on stage together. This song meant a lot to Gwen as she got to express how she was feeling as she got older.
“I was on my way to a session and it hit me, it was like, Purple Irises. That’s the song, I knew the day I wrote Purple Irises I needed to be truthful to myself and write this song about, I’m getting older, I don’t feel pretty. If I don’t feel pretty, how could someone else think I’m pretty still? What if somebody tries to take my love away from me? I really wanted to show how insecure I could feel,”
This song has allowed people to resonate with Gwen and how she is feeling in her relationship as she gets older. This is something that a lot of women feel as they age.
The two seem to be doing good and are just as much in love as they were in the beginning. They celebrated Easter with their children at their house in Oklahoma.
