Miranda Lambert Had A Successful Run In Las Vegas
Miranda Lambert played her final Velvet Rodeo show in Las Vegas on April 6. This conclusion marked the end of her successful, lucrative, and entertaining time in Sin City. Over the course of a year and a half run, Lambert played 48 shows in Las Vegas, and the crowds continued to show up to watch her perform.
Miranda Lambert’s 90-minute Velvet Rodeo set spanned her entire career, with tracks like Kerosene from her 2005 album of the same name, to many of her more recent hits. The one thing about Lambert is she sure knows how to put on a show, and she didn’t disappoint during her final outing in Vegas.
Lambert Gave Back In A Big Way With Vegas Run
Not only was the Velvet Rodeo a big draw for Miranda Lambert fans, but, it was also a great vehicle for Miranda Lambert to give back as well. The singer and animal lover donated one dollar from every ticket sold across all of her Vegas shows to MuttNation Foundation, an organization that Miranda started with her mother.
In addition to finding homes for shelter pets, the organization also offers spaying, neutering, and education within communities to raise awareness on these issues. Miranda Lambert contributed a sizable check of $140k to help with the cause, all funded through fans who bought tickets to her Velvet Rodeo shows.
