Dolly Parton has announced a surprising new partnership with a popular discount retailer. The iconic singer-songwriter, known for her big hair, bigger personality, and even bigger heart, is launching an exclusive line of merchandise with the budget-friendly chain. Keep reading for all the details.
“I Will Always Love You” Singer Launches Wine Brand
Dolly Parton has a lot of tricks up her sleeves. She’s been entertaining people since she was a teenager. The country music legend released a rock album last year that dominated the charts. The iconic singer is also an accomplished actress who may appear in the upcoming 9 to 5 reboot produced by Jennifer Aniston.
But Dolly Parton is more than just an entertainer. She is well-known for her philanthropy. She started the Imagination Library in 1995 to provide free books for children in the county in Tennessee where she grew up.
Almost 30 years later, the program is still going and now serves millions of children across the United States and internationally.
The iconic singer doesn’t just cater to children, though. Her latest venture is for adults only. She announced on social media last month that she was launching a brand of wine.
I’m very excited to officially launch @Dollywines today! Crafted with love, these wines are the perfect addition to spending time with family and friends. You can pre-order now at https://t.co/DzpKO4rpoE, so let’s raise a glass together! #vivino 🦋 pic.twitter.com/GaKpAIrEpm

She also has a line of cake mixes with Duncan Hines. Her recent collaboration with Krispy Kreme enticed fans and donut lovers for a limited time collection of donut flavors hand-picked by Dolly Parton.
Dolly Parton Teams Up With Discount Retailer
Dolly Parton’s reach goes beyond food and beverage. Her Dollywood theme park, which opened in 1986, recently replaced Disney World as the top rated attraction in at least one poll.
The “Coat of Many Colors” singer partnered with Hobby Lobby a few years ago for a line of Dolly-designed kitchenware. She also worked with retailer Walmart for a line of party favors, including coasters that asked the age-old question, “What Would Dolly Do?”
What Dolly would do is head down to your local Dollar General to snatch up items from her new kitchen and housewares line before they sell out. The bargain retailer took to social media earlier this week to announce the unexpected collaboration.

The line includes kitchen utensils such as a guitar-shaped spoon, various types of baskets, and other essential cookware products. According to the Dollar General website, most items are priced between one or two dollars, with the highest item – an apple-shaped cookie jar, priced at $8.
The Dolly Parton line will only be available at Dollar General for a limited time, so don’t miss out!
