Jelly Roll is a huge WWE fan, and he has been involved in several events in the past. He has been to shows as a fan, he has sung live, and he has even gotten involved in the action. It happened again this past Saturday, August 3rd at WWE SummerSlam, the company’s second biggest show of the year.

Here is what went down when Jelly Roll got involved with the action.

Jelly Roll Performs Live At WWE SummerSlam

Jelly Roll opened WWE SummerSlam by performing a song live at the event. It started when Jelly Roll sang “God Bless America” to open the show. Then, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque came out and welcomed the crowd to Cleveland Browns Stadium for the huge event and then introduced Jelly Roll.

Jelly Roll was already set up in the ring with his band. WWE had licensed two official theme songs for the event by Jelly Roll, “Dead End Road” and “Liar.” At this moment, Jelly Roll sang “Liar” in the ring before the show’s first match.

However, Jelly Roll wasn’t finished for the evening yet.

Machine Gun Kelly Was Also At WWE SummerSlam

Rock star Machine Gun Kelly was also at WWE SummerSlam. He came out to the ring with his friend Logan Paul, the defending United States Heavyweight Champion. Clearly, the fans didn’t care that MGK and Paul were hometown boys because they booed both of them.

When MGK tried to help Logan Paul cheat to win his match, it backfired. L.A. Knight persevered and won the title, which was the end of the night for Logan Paul. However, Machine Gun Kelly would make one more appearance.

Austin Theory & Grayson Waller Call Out Jelly Roll

WWE likes to add some filler for the fans between the last two matches to give them time to calm down from one match to the next. After Gunther beat Damian Priest to win the WWE World Championship, the main event was still to come, but it was time for some fun first.

The Miz was hosting the show, and he was in the ring with his tag team partner, R-Truth, to announce the attendance for the night (57,791 fans in attendance). However, bad guys Austin Theory and Grayson Waller came out and talked smack to them.

They then saw Jelly Roll and Machine Gun Kelly sitting together in the crowd and said that most Cleveland residents “look like” Jelly Roll. Waller and Theory then insulted Jelly Roll’s music and said MGK’s wasn’t much better.

They didn’t see Jelly Roll come into the ring behind them after this – holding a steel chair. When they saw him, Miz and R-Truth attacked, and Jelly Roll smashed Waller and Theory with the chair. Jelly Roll then hit a huge chokeslam on Theory before he, Miz, and R-Truth did John Cena’s classic “Five Knuckle Shuffle” move.

By the end, Miz and R-Truth held up Jelly Roll’s hands in victory, and it looked like he was having the time of his life.
