Already, this album means a lot to the Texas native, and it surely has a special place in her heart as well. Country Singer Is At A Unique Stage In Life
Speaking about this brand-new record, as well as where she is currently in life, Miranda Lambert said: “I’m lucky. I reached a lot of my goals early, and then you’re like, ‘What do I chase now?’ It takes a while to figure out the balance of actually living your life so you have something to write about and constantly being on the grind. And I think I finally found that balance pretty good.”
Balance can be a hard thing to find. This is especially true when you’re someone like Miranda Lambert, who always wants to stay at the top of her game, as well as one step ahead of everyone else. However, from the looks of it, the singer is embracing the idea of balance even more these days.
Miranda Lambert Opens Up About New Record
With this new record about to drop, a lot of listeners are curious about which era of Miranda Lambert they are going to get. According to Miranda, she had plenty to say about all of that, including some of what listeners can expect.
Lambert said: “I made this with a new energy, kind of like the energy I had at 19 making my first album. This record feels like you made it home, and you’re like, I’m going to send you some letters from home for a while.”

Miranda Lambert went on to add: “After 20 years on Sony Records and then parting ways and regrouping, I had time to think, what do I really want my next chapter to be? I wanted to go back to the root and find my footing again. To finally make another record in Texas with my best friend, Jon Randall, and it just has this honky-tonk home sound to me. That’s the way I grew up. It’s the music that got me started. So it feels full circle.”
