Elle King is expecting her second child amid the revelation that she had family drama with her father, actor Rob Schneider. The thirty-five-year-old singer opened up about their tumultuous relationship. Now, she is sharing how her family is expanding dispute the turmoil. Keep reading for all of the details.
Elle King Expecting Baby #2 Amid Family Drama
When Elle King appeared on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast, she shared what life was like growing up in an actor’s household. She and her father, Rob Schneider, known for SNL and parts in The Hot Chick and Big Daddy, had a very rough time. There was a lot of dissension and it appeared he never really approved of her and who she was. As an adult, she had her own struggles which were amplified during the New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. There, she appeared severely inebriated and then, she went on to drunkenly perform for Dolly Parton’s birthday at the Grand Ole Opry.
She has since apologized and taken a break from performing after all of that went down. Now, Elle is on tour and having a great time. She needed to take a step back to see and now things are better than ever. As she is out on tour, she shared some very exciting news. She is expecting her second child with her partner, Dan Tooker. They were engaged but called it off and now, they are back together and getting ready for their second baby boy, according to People.

The couple are already parents to son, Lucky, 3 and Elle wants a huge family:
I want so many kids. I just want a big family.
On Sunday, September 222nd, Elle shared the happy news while onstage. However, she then took to her Instagram to share the exciting news along with a gender reveal. Blue balloons and confetti flew everywhere and the parents-to-be looked thrilled. Elle shared that she and Dan got back together after time apart but added she’d try “anything twice.” Plus, Lucky was a major factor:
He’s definitely brought me and his dad back together just because, what are we doing? We have everything that both of us have ever wanted right here. Let’s put our weapons down. Come on. This is it. This is life. It doesn’t get better than this. This is worth trying. This is worth wiping a slate clean. This is worth all the effort in the world. My family, this is what deserves all the energy and effort.

Though Rob Schneider apologized to Elle King on television and wanted her to know he was not mad and still loved her, does she care? She has said that it “means nothing.” However, she had said to Bunnie XO that she never planned on reconciling with him so it was likely that an apology was useless. In the end, Elle is doing great and has good things coming her way. She has a successful tour and a new baby on the way so that is her focus. Congrats to Elle, Dan, and Lucky on their new addition.
