Miranda Lambert has been hard at work promoting her brand-new album, Postcards From Texas. While doing all of that, she recently found some downtime to unwind while engaging in one of her favorite pastimes. So, what did the singer get up to recently?
Miranda Lambert Doing Press For Her New Record
Prior to the release of her most recent record, Postcards From Texas, it had been some time since Miranda Lambert released her previous record, Palomino. In addition to playing shows and showcasing new songs, another thing that all artists have to do is go full force into a press tour.
In Lambert’s case, this includes going on various talk shows and going in for different interviews to promote the new record. As essential as this is to make sure that the new album has extra momentum behind it, this can also be one of the most exhausting parts about writing and releasing a new album.
Miranda Lambert Enjoys Some Downtime From Promoting New Record
While shaking hands, signing autographs, going in for interviews, and playing shows are all part of a well-rounded strategy to promote a new record, it can be tiresome work. Recently, Miranda Lambert was able to step away for a bit and enjoy one of her favorite things, time with her horses.
Lambert shared an update with her followers at the Oklahoma State Fair. She was able to dress up in full gear and show off her pride and joy, her horses. Her animals mean a lot to Miranda Lambert, as she has a special place in her heart for them, and she really got to show them off while also enjoying some time away from the busy promotional schedule.
Lambert Opens Up About Time With Her Horses In Oklahoma
Speaking about her time at the Oklahoma State Fair, Lambert said: “Yall I took a little break last weekend from album release press run to do one of my favorite things in the world. Showing my horses, Gypsy Vanner’s, at the Oklahoma State Fair with the best friends and family.”
Continuing on, Miranda Lambert added: “Horses are my happy place. What better way to celebrate Postcards From Texas than doing something COUNTRY and WESTERN. Thanks to my gal pals @samanthacrook1and @kenda_lenseigne for all the grit and glitter. Blue Ribbon Club! PS first pic is one of my @idyllwindoutfits!”
