Lives Will Never Be The Same In The Aftermath Of Hurricane Helene
If you have been keeping up with the news in any capacity, it has been impossible to avoid the news of all of the tragedy that Hurricane Helene left in its wake. More than 200 lives have been lost as a direct result of this natural disaster. This is in addition to properties, businesses, and livelihoods that were also in the path of destruction.
North Carolina saw the highest death toll among all of the states Hurricane Helene ravaged through. Along with Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and more, there has been significant damage and loss of life since Helene first caused havoc, and many lives will never be the same.
Miranda Lambert Does Her Part To Help Animals In Distress
As longtime Miranda Lambert fans know, she is passionate when it comes to animals. In addition to having animals of her own, which include dogs and even horses, she is all about helping animals as a whole. Lambert regularly does this through her foundation.
Lambert recently took to social media to share a gut-wrenching clip of many of the animals affected by the hurricane, including those in shelters that were already at capacity. This is a cause that hits extremely close to home for Miranda. So, in this regard, it’s no surprise that not only is she raising awareness, but, she is donating and raising funds as well.
Miranda Lambert Gives Big For Animals In Need
Along with sharing the sad clip of all of the animals in distress following damage by Hurricane Helene, Miranda Lambert wrote to her followers, saying: “My heart breaks for the people and pets impacted by Hurricane Helene. In situations like this, a lot of people ask me how they can help. We’ve already provided nearly $100,000 to help though our @muttnation-@tractorsupply Relief for Rescues Fund.”
The Wranglers singer continued, adding: “I created this fundraiser for anyone who wants to join us in helping 100% of your donation goes towards Hurricane Helene disaster relief.”
