Luke Grimes became a household name thanks to his role as Kaycee Dutton on the hit show Yellowstone. He used his name recognition to get a foot into the country music industry. The singer/actor released his long-awaited debut album this year. He said his next album will have a special inspiration.
Luke Grimes Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut
Yellowstone kicked off the second half of Season 5 on November 10. It will be the show’s final season after Kevin Costner’s exit. But the Dutton family will live on in several spinoff prequels and sequels. With the biggest role of his acting career coming to an end, Luke Grimes shifted his focus to music. He credited Yellowstone co-star Lainey Wilson for influencing him.
He released his self-titled debut album in March. The singer reached a huge milestone on November 16 when he made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. The CMT channel shared a TikTok of Luke Grimes performing his hit “Hold On” in the famed Circle.

Reveals Sweet Inspiration For Next Album
Luke Grimes just released his debut album this year. But he’s already got his mind on his next album. He told PEOPLE magazine that his second album will be different from his first for one special reason. The famous actor welcomed his first child with his wife, Bianca Grimes, in October. The couple have been married since 2018.
Their son is only a month old but he’s already had a huge impact on his dad. “Man, having my baby has changed everything in every way possible,” Grimes told the outlet. In fact, it changed so much that being a dad will inspire the singer’s next album.
Luke Grimes explained that his second album “will be very heavily influenced by having [his son] around.” He added, “That’s the biggest influence in my life right now.”

“Hopefully the music doesn’t become this sort of cheesy love fest [now],” he joked.
Yellowstone Star Talks Bond With Wife
The singer’s wife and son were on hand at his Grand Ole Opry debut. He told PEOPLE magazine that having a child together only strengthened this bond with his wife.
“It’s brought me and my wife close in a way that I didn’t know we could be. There’s another level in the way that we love each other and how we have to be a team for this little guy.”
Luke Grimes didn’t reveal any details of when fans can expect his second album.
